Structural Edits

For getting into the guts of your story. You want it analysed and discussed to death; you want juicy notes and an exhaustive report. Let us prise your story apart, and we’ll give you instructions on how to put it all back together, better than ever.

  • You’ll get:

    • Razor-sharp analysis of your story and all its elements – especially the areas you’re concerned about

    • Chapter-by-chapter feedback

    • A 45 minute 1:1 meeting to go through our notes together

Copy Edits

The finishing touch. For when you know the story is good – great! – but you want it perfect. The sentence-level artistry, the prose, the rhythm, and story consistency are what a copy edit is all about.

Who we are

Alli Parker

Alli is the bestselling author of At the Foot of the Cherry Tree, based on the true story of Australia’s first Japanese war bride and Alli’s grandmother. At the Foot of the Cherry Tree was shortlisted for an ABIA (Australian Book Industry Award) - the Matt Richell Award for Best New Writer 2024 - shortlisted for Dymocks Book of the Year 2024, and longlisted for the Indie Book Awards 2024.

Her second novel, Until the Red Leaves Fall, was published by HarperCollins in August 2025. She has written episodes of television series Jack Irish, Secret Bridesmaids’ Business and Ms Fisher’s Modern Murder Mysteries.

Genevieve Novak

Genevieve is a writer from Naarm, Melbourne. She writes contemporary and literary fiction, and columns and articles for The Age and Sydney Morning Herald. Her bestselling novels, No Hard Feelings (2022) and Crushing (2023) have been published in Australia, Germany and the UK, and are a cursed mirror to neurotic women everywhere.

She has a bachelor’s degree in creative writing from the University of Adelaide, and more than a decade of writing, editing and publishing experience.
